FAQ:
How do I apply? You apply to the Enso Circle online. Applications open February 1, 2025 and close February 24, 2025. Here is the Application Link. How many people are in The Enso Circle? There is a limit of twelve people in each three-month artists' residency to ensure personal attention and close community communication. What's expected of Enso Residents? After your acceptance is confirmed, you will be asked to commit to a three-month period of time during which you will work on a specific goal for your art that you will share with the Enso community. You'll meet once a week with the group by Zoom for an hour, and will communicate with all of the Residents through our Slack channel whenever you like. Your work is expected to be exhibit-ready by the end of the term and will be featured in our Enso Circle Exhibit Catalog. |

IS THE ENSO CIRCLE RIGHT FOR ME?
ABSOLUTELY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE . . .
...an artist who is ready to focus on a conceptual goal in your studio practice.
It could be a social theme, an exploration of media, a series of work that analyzes personal struggles or celebrates overcoming difficulty.
...an artist who may be feeling a sense of isolation or lack of direction.
This virtual three-month residency may be exactly what you need to re-connect to your art practice through synergetic interaction with others in The Enso Circle.
...an artist who feels the need for a balanced studio experience.
Enso encourages both personal creative time and guided encouragement from like-minded working artists.
