"It is a wonderful group in so many ways, not only in the sense of connection but also in the willingness to be vulnerable, active, and open to that mutual support. It comes from everyone, and is a piece of our shared commitment to showing up for ourselves and each other. "
Continuing Resident Heather Tinkham

The Enso Circle is a unique experience for many reasons.
  • It has all the advantages of an in-depth workshop: resources, technique videos, handouts and printables.
  • Like an academic residency, it allows you to select your individual goal and work toward it with peer and mentor support.
  • It has the power of a critique group through frequent informal Zoom meetings and discussions in our private Slack space.
  • It is led by nationally known teacher/artists Michelle Belto and Lyn Belisle, who will model the process by working toward their own goals right along with you during the three-month program.
  • And it culminates in an online exhibition.

WHAT ARTIST RESIDENTS SAY ABOUT THEIR  ENSO CIRCLE EXPERIENCE:

"Enso lets me truly see the individual style, prep and steps along the way with each artist and their projects and to see successes and failures and the opportunities in the those too. There certainly is no one way as there is no one person...all are unique as is their art! Thank you for the privilege of being part of this amazing experience! ~ Katherine

I’m so honored to be part of this group of talented and generous artists! It feels like home - I feel nurtured and safe! I definitely want to continue in the Enso Circle for the next term! ~ Harleen

Everyone is supportive and encouraging. The Enso Circle is an experience every artist would find great benefit from - no matter where you are on the creative journey. I really appreciate Lyn and Michele’s experienced teaching and guidance. ~ Brita

I was looking for a supportive, accessible space to take a major step forward in my creative work. The Enso Circle cohort has freely and abundantly offered inspiration, affirmation, tools and techniques, accountability to my commitment, and sisters in celebrating our voices ~ Heather
